We’ve teamed up with pop-up dining experience discovery platform, Grub Club, to deliver a dedicated programme in 2016 for up to 20 food entrepreneurs – designed to catalyse scale and nurture commercial opportunities. If you’re a food entrepreneur and you’re ready to scale your business, this course is for you.

In 2015-16 we ran 5 cross-sector programmes for early-stage East London businesses, providing them with the skills, resources and networks needed to grow a successful, sustainable enterprise.


Do I have to be based in East London to qualify?

No. We have a number of places on the courses we can allocate to residents outside of East London.If you’re not based in East London we would like to see whether you already do or plan to deliver services and/or products to the East London area.

How developed does my business have to be to get onto Echo++?

Whether you have been operating for 3 months or 3 years, Echo++ has relevant support for you. If you’d like to discuss your particular business needs further just email and we can arrange a time to chat.

What is the application process?

First, you will need to complete our online application form. We’ll be in touch to arrange an informal telephone or face-to-face interview within a week of receiving your application. We currently do not have any courses running but will be advertising places for Autumn courses in due course. To be the first to hear about what’s available just contact to get your name on the waiting list.

Is there a fee to get on the course?

At Echo, we trade in time and skills, not pounds and pence. So, rather than charging a financial fee, we simply ask that successful applicants spend some of their time on the programme helping other Echo members.We’ll work with you to make sure that what you’re offering other members directly benefits your own business development, promoting what you do to a network of over 1600 professionals and local businesses. So while you’re helping others, you’re helping yourself too. We measure this in Echoes (naturally).

Will I receive help to earn Echoes back?

Of course! Our team will work with you individually to help create listings and offers that will allow you to make trades and earn Echoes.

How do I pay and receive Echoes?

It’s easy – once you’ve initiated, agreed and carried out your trade, you’ll be prompted to request payment or make a payment within your message thread. You can check on the progress of your trades at any time by heading to ‘My Trades’ within your dashboard.
